Reiki Healing Sessions
Reiki sessions, holistic healing and transformation, can help ease tension and stress and help support the body to facilitate an environment for healing on all levels – physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. It is a simple, natural and safe method of healing and self-improvement.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a subtle and effective form of energy work, a spiritual healing art with its roots in Japanese origin. The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word (Rei) which means “Universal Life” and (Ki) which means “Energy”. Reiki is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice. It is not massage nor is it based on belief or suggestion.
Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things. Reiki Practitioners understand that everyone has the ability to connect with their own healing energy and use it to strengthen energy in themselves and help others. When a person’s “ki” or energy is strong and free flowing, the body and mind is in a positive state of health. When the energy becomes weak or blocked it could lead to symptoms of physical and/or emotional imbalance.
During a Reiki Session, the practitioner places her hands on the client with the intention of the Reiki energy to flow. This energy knows exactly where the blocks are and pushes them out as well as fills up the energy gas tanks wherever you are low in energy.
Reiki is a great tool to use as a complement to traditional medicine and is practiced in many hospitals and medical care settings. It should not be used in place of medicines or a physician, but works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery.

Each individual responds uniquely so there are not set protocols for frequency of treatment. Reiki energy healing can relieve pain and acute symptoms rapidly, while chronic problems may require more extensive sessions. Length of treatment depends on the root cause of the problem and the amount of energy needed to bring the problem area back into balance.
New clients: If this is your first appointment, please email Jacquelyn Rose to schedule a 15 minute phone consultation as well as your first two sessions. First 2 sessions are $100 ($50 per session).
- 3 session package $240 ($80 per session), expires 1 month
- 6 session package $450 ($75 per session), expires 3 months
- 12 session package $840 ($70 per session), expires 6 months
All sessions are 60 minutes, unless special arrangements are mutually agreed upon.
* All Reiki session packages have expiration dates (first two new client sessions expire in 14 days). It is your responsibility to schedule & attend all sessions before the expiration date.

How to Prepare and What to Expect
You’ll want to be sure you’ve eaten and hydrated a few hours before the session, mostly so you will be as comfortable as possible and not distracted by hunger or thirst. Avoid eating a heavy meal beforehand, however, as you don’t want all of your body’s energy to be directed toward digesting while you’re receiving your treatment. You will be laying down for the majority of your session, so comfort is key for being open to taking on and integrating the Reiki energy. Be sure you are wearing comfortable clothes. Either wear or bring socks since shoes are removed during the session and the feet can get cold. You’ll also want to use the restroom before the session, and if the position you are in for your session is uncomfortable in any way, let me know so we can adjust. The most important thing of all is that you go into your session with an open mind and ready to receive the energy.
When a Reiki practitioner places her/his hands on or just above an area of the fully clothed body, Reiki flows through the practitioner into the person receiving the treatment. This flow may be felt as any type of sensation—heat, cold, vibration, tingling, unusual heaviness, or sometimes as no sensation at all.
Each session is complete in itself and improvement may come over days or even weeks, depending on how fast the individual can integrate what happened during the energy session.
After doing any type of energy work it’s important to hydrate, so be sure to drink 1-2 glasses of water after your session. If you are hungry then make sure you eat something and that it’s not heavy.
